Duke of Edinburgh and Other Organised Camps

Duke of Edinburgh and Scout, Guide and Church camps are an incredible opportunity to encourage leadership skills and self-confidence in young people, taking them out of their comfort zone, and giving first-hand experience of sleeping under canvas.

Our rural sites provide toilet and washing facilities, and space for up to 100 campers. There may be use of a kitchen and indoor eating area for larger groups, and excellent camp fire clearings for evening gatherings. The fields are surrounded by woodland, through which good permitted paths join local footpaths. Despite the secluded nature of our camping fields, we are only a local drive from Reading and Newbury and 10 minutes from Junction 12 of the M4.

Use of the camping facilities is limited, so you are advised to book early.
