The Pang Valley Countryside Project

The Pang Valley Countryside Project was set up to protect and enhance the natural beauty of the Pang Valley and to help people appreciate and care for the countryside.

We do this by providing the following to landowners, farmers and community groups:

• Advice on habitat and landscape management
• Farm and parish conservation plans
• Environmental education
• Conservation grants
• Volunteer conservation work
• Guided walks, talks and training events
• Newsletter 'Upstream' available
• Friends of the Pang and Kennet Valleys

By working in partnership with farmers, parish councils, community groups, schools and other agencies we are helping to secure a diverse and thriving countryside, a working environment rich in wildlife.
