Farming History for KS2 & KS3

Our history package concentrates upon the use of historical evidence to discover the history of Rushall Farm. In so doing students also gain an understanding of farming practices in the past.

Historical artefacts are used before students progress to drawing conclusions from our historic farm buildings. After this, students are presented with different types of documentary evidence from which they have to draw logical conclusions.

The history package is active and requires children to discover things for themselves. The package offers history in action in a unique setting.

History 1 Describe the artefact

History 2 Growing Crops

History 3 Worksheets for students
